Fairgrounds personnel pledged to list and note each com-
ponent piece of the public address system and that promise
satisfied the B(X’C to approve the dollars on the contingency
that the complete itemized listing be turned over to the coun-
ty clerk.
By law any item permanently attached to a county build-
ing is considered a part of the structure and the B(X.’C has the
full authority and is required to replace such items under
Oklahoma's Title 61 statutes.
The Creek County Sheriff’s Office made a request to the
BOCC for $6,022 to replace outmoded and damaged interior
emergency and run lighting fixtures within the jail's housing
areas.
The BOCC approved the installation of 12 sets of fluores-
cent lights that are ensconced within protective anti-vandal
housings due to the proximity of the jail's inmate populace.
The board reviewed phone bids obtained by jailers from
several local vendors including City Lighting. City Lighting
and the Stewart C. Irving company.
In other actions this week the Creek County Board ul
Commissioner added Judge Richard Woolery as a receiving
officer for the IX'-6 (Drug Court) account.
The board continued the effort made in recent weeks to
sign up juvenile detention housing agreements with most ol
our 77 counties and several tribal entities This week the
B(XX' approved reciprocal contracts with Blaine County,
Cimmaron County. Cotton County, Bills County. Kiowa
County . Mayes County and Okmulgee County.

County is a non profit
organization which began in
1987. Youth Services aided
104 children in 2015.
