Sandra Joyce O’Daniel Buckner
Hearing aid donations sought
Sandra Joyce O'Daniel
Buckner woke up in the
arms of Jesus on Saturday
morning, June 3, 2006.
Sandy was a loving and
good wife. John could see
the love she felt in her eyes
every time she looked at
him. She was a devoted
mother to her son, Tracy,
and always saw him through
the tough times.
Her grandchildren were
the joy of her life. She was
very fond of her dogs and
considered them part of the
family and not just a pet.
Sandy was the type of friend
to always lend a hand even
if she barely knew you. She
always put other people
first.
Sandy enjoyed decorat-
ing her house and making it
a comfortable home for her
family;. She was a bargain
shopper and could always
be found at a garage sale or
the local dollar store. She
truly loved working in her
yard and had an apprecia-
tion of the flowers and
God’s beauty through
nature.
She loved going to
church and loved her church
family.
Sandy worked at
Wal-Mart as a cashier for 10
years until her health forced
her to retire. In her youth,
she played high school bas-
ketball at Preston, where she
graduated from. She loved
family gatherings at the lake
and park. She enjoyed play-
ing softball. Sandy had an
amazing light and it will
always shine on.
