Halligan said.
‘This is an information
center for sure," Hershberger
said.
He said he has been com-
ing to the donut shop since it
was Dan and Jo s in the
1970s.
Egan said he has been
coming for about seven
years. Halligan said he has
been coming since he moved
to Sapulpa in 1983.
“Most «>f us have known
each other, but anyone can
come in and sit with us and
we'll get acquainted." Egan
said.
Hershberger said there's a
wide spectrum of people
there every morning.
"The utility companies are
pretty well represented." he
said. There are retired em-
ployees from the phone com-
panies. oil and gas companies
and even a former mayor and
city commissioner.
There is one group of peo-
ple that aren't represented
women.
"Every once in a while a
woman will sit with us." said
Jim Brown. "I'm afraid my
wife may come up here one
day."
Hershberger said most ol
the men come to the donut
shop every morning for the
company.
"Camaraderie is the real
reason." he said. "It s a great
get-away from the little
woman "

"Some people come in and
say they haven't laughed so
hard." Hershberger said
