It seems that scientists are continually try-
ing to disprove any possibility of God in
creation. They formulate theories and
hypothesis' and with advanced, though lim-
ited intelligence, proclaim to have solved
the mysteries of the universe. If their theo-
ries are correct, who says God could not
choose to do it that way. I guess their view
of God is like a great magician, pulling cos-
| mic rabbits out of hats.
The only thing I see when I read the cre-
ation account is that God spoke the creation
into existence That does not mean that God
did not follow physical laws he himself
established. My point? God is always at
work around us God did not create the
world and then leave it to function on its
own. He has been actively involved
throughout history In fact. He has been cre-
ating and orchestrating history.
What is even more astounding is that God
is working on an even closer, mote person
al level. God is at work around you and me.
It think it is amazing when you stop to oon-
I aider k.
God was already at work around Moses
when He came to Moses in the desert God
had a purpose that He was working out in
I Moms’world. Although Moses was an exile
te the dassrt, he was right on God's sched
ule. Right ■ the fullness of God’s tuning.
l%|H hi tee Biddle of God’s will.
How dha do we that God is at work
wound m hi our world? How is God want-
J lag to tevetveywte His work? God is still
I at wash wound us and He wants to involve
I M te Hte plan, just W in Moses time How
I does God want to involve you

Th* Church is God i appointed ogoncy in thii world
for spreading fht knowledge of His lovt for man ond
of His domand for man to respond to that love by
loving his neighbor Without this grounding in the
love of God, no government or society or way of life
will long persevere ond the freedoms which we hold
so dear will inevitably perish Therefore, even from
o selfish point of view, one should support the Church
for the sake of the welfare of himself ond his fomily
leyond that, however, every person should uphold
ond participate in the Church because it tells the truth
about man's life, deoth ond destiny; the truth which
alone will set him free to live as o child of God

OUT OF THE EARTH
Man receives his food and much of his clothing
from the earth. God has been good to us. “... he did
good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons,
filling our hearts with food and gladness"
We as a nation, underGod, have been especially
blessed, and as long as we honor God and his house,
our nation will eonttm* to flourish.
Let us not grow confidant in ourselves ....
for we plant and water,
but only God gives the increase.
