Question: Why arc there so
many accidents and people killed in
automobile accidents each year?
Answer: This is a most difficuli
question to answer Though these
articles, we have tried to address this
It is all of the aforementioned errors
and many more which contribute to

August this year, we have had 461
fatalities, compared lo 439 this time
last year In Creek County, wc have
had sixteen people killed compared
to ten last year!
The reasons for accidents arc the
same as last year People driving loo
Iasi lor conditions, alcohol and dri
ving, drugs and driving, failure to
obey trailic control signs, fatigue, or
nol stopping to rest when they
should, not wearing seatbelts, and not
paying full attention to their driving
responsibilities.
I have written several articles on
speed, yet people still speed Many
think "i won't itaVC an accident, it
always happens to someone else”.
Maybe today it will be you in that
ambulance as it blares its way to the
emergency mom
Drinking drivers and drug users I
suspect don't really care Most think
they will nol get caught, but many
do Most of the time they arc caught
in a horrible accident
As I have said many times, if you
would just slow down, you will gel
there just as fast and more important
ly, sale and sound! If you are tired,
slop and rest If you drink, don’ t
drive
Do your pari for a safer
Oklahoma Drive safely!
Just 4 percent of Egypt’s land is
arable Most of this is, of course, alone
the Nile River.
As of 1991, 56.5 million Americans
had one or more forms of heart and
blood-vessel disease.
