home demonstration club week.
A demonstration on making
small quilts from nursery prints
was given by Mrs. Reyburn, and
Mrs. Paul Fleming presented the
lesson on "Line _,
Ready-To-Wear". Several gar-
ments were shown and reasons
given for their selection, also the
price and care of various fabric*
was studied.
Spring flowers decorated the
tables for a covered dish luncheon
at noonday, with Mrs. W. V. Mc-
Farlin and Mrs Joe Hayter host-
esses.

ing for federal offices was approv-
ed by a senate committee Thurs-
