Contest proceedings will surely be

In the same matter it is possible
that Lovett may win out over Brady,

Miss Hortense VN illiams and Mr. |«■
George K. Parker weie married at
Forrest City, Arkansas, October 27,
1910. 1 hey will make their home in
Kiefer for the present.
Mr. Parker is too well known in
Kiefer for the Searchlight to make
any comment. He is president of
the City Council and everybody
knows him.
We clip the following from the
Crowley Ridge Chronicle, published
at Forrest City:
1 he wedding hells of this city are
atuned to chime their sweetes and
merriest for the happy event that is to
be solommi/.ed at the Methodist
church at 8 o’clock p. m. The im-
portance of this marriage will no
daubt give its preceedence to all simi-
lai affairs of the fall season and justi-
fies the “prelim” contributed here
out of the respect and admiration for
the beautiful bride and the high es-
teem and friendship in which the fam
ily is held by hosts of friends through-1
out the state.
The bride, Miss Hortense, whom
everyone loves for her amiability,
countless graces and attractive person-
ality, is the third daughter of Sheriff
and Mrs. W. K. Williams, and by
reason of the position in which her
accomplishments and admirably dis-
position have placed her with refer-
ence to our social and religious life, is
entirely deserving of all the homage
paid her upon the eve of her wedding
The past week has been filled with
one continual round of gaeties and
compliments to Miss Williams.
I he plans for the wedding are be-
ing elaborately catried out and no de-
tail is being over looked by the family
and friends that will add in any way
to its beauty.
