The County Democrat
History
Anson T. Foster published and edited the paper and issued it every Saturday. It contained four pages of seven columns measuring at 20 by 26 inches and cost $1.00 for a subscription each year. In 1900 Foster’s son, Harry V. Foster joined the paper as co-publisher and took over the paper in 1902 where he changed the distribution day to Fridays and contained eight pages measuring 15 by 22 inches. The County Democrat still currently being published.
