was raised, brought in and sold
by Bryan Daughtrey. It was
bought by Slaton & Sanders at
5 cents in the seed and as the
bale weighed over 1500 pounds
Mr Daughtrey realized
a right snug little sum for
it counting the nice premium
that was made up for him by the
business men of the town. The
premium amounted to $54.00.

that day is a legal holiday it was
