MENACE TO THE PUBLIC.
On the much traveled highway, the
Bartlesville-Tuxedo-Uewey road, be-
tween this city and Tuxedo, two
shackle rods running across the road
are a menace to the traveling public
and unless they are attended to and
the owners made to place them under
ground, there is going to be an acci-
dent that will result in loss of life.
AVhen in action these rods raise sev-
eral inches a’ove the ground, nearly
a distance to catch the crank shaft
of an automobile, as it passes over
them. The county commissioners, or
the road overseer should look aftee-j
this before the county faces a suit for;
damages.
