Before a background of white
glad toll and tulips, Miss Louise
Margaret Bosler, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Ben Bosler of Union City,
became the bride of Lawrence N.
Care), son of Mr. and Mrs. William
Oarel, also of Union City, at 8
o'clock Monday morning at the St.
Joseph church in Union City.
The double-ring ceremony was
read by Rev. Thomas Hoffman,
pastor. Sister M. Magdalen of
Union City played the "Bridal
Maroh” by Wagner from Lohen-
grin, and "Mendelssohn's Wedding
March."
Oiven In marriage by her father,
the bride wore a white satin floor-
length dress with nylon net over
the full gathered ijclrt. The scal-
loped yoke was edged with the
nylon net and her long sleeves
came to points over her hands. The
back closing featured tiny self-
covered buttons.
Her fingertip-length veil, edged
with lace, was attached to a halo
of orange blossoms. She carried b
colonial bouquet of white roses
showered with White satin stream-
ers.

over taffeta was styled with a full
gathered floor-length skirt with
scalloped short sleeves and a low
neckline. She wore matching mitts
and carried a colonial bouquet of
salmon gladioli.
Alfred Carel of Union City was
best man and ushers were Louis
Bosler and Cecil Carel, both of
Union City.
For her daughter’s wedding, Mrs.
Bosler chose a kelly green crepe
dress accented with natural ac-
cessories. Mrs. Carel wore a navy
blue crepe dress with navy acces-
sories and both mothers wore pink
carnation corsages.
A reception was held in the home
of the bride's parents at 8 o'clock
Monday evening, followed by a
dance at the Knights of Columbus
hall In El Reno. The lace-covered
refreshment table for the reception
was centered with a four-tiered
wedding cake, topped with a minia-
ture bride and bridegroom, and
surrounded by plumosls fern.
Presiding at the reception were
Mrs. R. P. Taylor and Mrs. Sam
Novosad, who cut the cake; Mrs.
Joe McComas and Mrs. Cecil Moore
presided at the punch bowl; Mrs.
Bob Curtis was In charge of the
guest book and Mrs. Benno Bosler
and Mrs. Oscar Bosler were In
charge of the gifts.
Mr. and Mrs. Carel will make
their home west of Union City,
where he is engaged In farming.

Sewing club Tuesday afternoon.
Sewing was the diversion (or the
afternoon and refreshments were
served by the hostess.

Mrs. R. T. Huddart, Mrs. Ryan

Auxiliary to the Brotherhood of
Rollroad Trainmen held Tuesday
evening at Trainmen hall, report*
given by the general planning com-
mittee for class Initiation to be held
In May were discussed and approv-
ed.
The planning committee consist-
ed or Mrs. Donald Johnson, chair-
man, Mrs. Clarence Oorbet and
Mrs. Doyle Ferguson.
Committees appointed to work
out details of the coming event
were named. Mrs. Oorbet is-chair-
man of the luncheon and banquet
committee and she will be assisted
by Mrs. LeRoy HIU and Mrs. Roy
Marshall.
Named to the decoration commit-
tee were Mrs. Doyle Ferguson,
chairman, Mrs. Sam Wallace and
Mrs. Tice Wagner. Mrs. Johnson
will serve ns chairman of the en-
tertainment committee and hsr
members are Mrs. Oeorge Stout and
Mrs. Ernest Eltel.
Reports wre given by Mrs. Stout,
chairman of the rummage sale
committee; Mrs. Marshall, flower
and card committee member, and
Mrs. Wallacd, secretary of the aud-
iting committee.
Attending Tuesday night's meet-
ing were Mrs. W. L. Broody, Mrs.
LeRoy Browning, Mrs. Roy Collins,
Mrs. R. C. Cranmer. Mrs. Herbert

ed the event.

chairman, presented Mrs. Madeline
Douglas Bullard of Oklahoma City,
who reviewed the play "Point of
No Return,'' arranged by Paul Os-
bom. Mrs. Bullard’s mother, Mr*.
H. Dorsey Douglas, also from Ok-
lahoma City, was a guest for the
afternoon.
Mrs. I. W. Douglas was general
chairman for the tea, and mem-
bers of the decorating committee
were Mrs. Herman Merveldt, Mrs.
W. W. Matthews and Mrs. H. A.
Taylor.
