You are familure with the "sweet refrain”,
are you not?
You know also that the weather is hot,
do you not?
But do you know that
The Old Reliable
is hotter after your banking
business—than all out door — than all ragtime
“hot-times” ever composed or written — than all
the burning, seathing chunks of red hot Saphe
that ought not to have been composed or written.
That it otters conservative, experienced man-
agement of your businoss of what ever nature in-
trusted and as security, its ample capital and
surplus fund of more than the amount of any bank
in this County.

PREDICT ONE
THOUSAND
STUDENTS
Norman, Okla , Aug 4 A thou-
sand students are predicted for j
the state university this fall ac-
cording to the inqni' ies pouring
into the university office. Tile
entering freshman class is ex
pected to be the largest in the
history of the school, The re-
sult will be largely brought!
about by the influence of the new
president, A. Grant Evans, in the
Indian Territory part of the state
where heretofore the enrollment
has been comparatively small, j
Another cause of increase is the I
establishing of the position of
(lpan of women, which will tend
to increase the attendance of the
younger girls. Still another is
the establishing of the state geo-
logical survey’s headquarters at
the varsity. This will tend to in-
crease largel.v the enrollment in
the department of geology be
cause of the increased possibili
ties of research work and of the
possibility of obtaining prolita
ble summer work with the sue
vey
Roy White went to Shawnee

folks.

few days ;n Byers and Ada Ok
