Corner Drug Store
THE DRUGGIST SAYS:
Did you ever hear of the drug clerk who wore out his
voice asking for a raise in salary? He was long on conver-
sation and short on ideas. He had bad eye sight. He could
not see an Hderly person or a fellow in work clothes without
-«telescope, but the girlie with the giggle could hold him for
an hour. Of course, he was handed the tin ware. The last
we heard of him he was banding out talk and chili con came
in a hash foundry. No, he never worked for us. That sort
of duck never gets a chance to go to bat in our store where
we extend to all careful, courteous and painstaking atten-
tion.
