Honor Roll at OCU
Jerrell E. Blurton, student from
El Reno, is one of 158 students
named to the Dean’s Honor Roll
at Oklahoma City university for
the second semester.
To qualify for the Honor Roll
a student must maintain a 2.25

semester’s work. This is equal

Union City Methodist church for
Mrs. Karl Pappe, pioneer county
resident from Union City, who
died June 15 in an El Reno hos-
pital following a long illness.
Mrs. Pappe was born Jan. 4,
1890, in Missouri, and came to
Canadian county in 1902.
She is survived by the husband,
Karl of the home; a son, Durvard,
also of the home: and two sisters,
Mrs. Si I la Bowen, Union and Mr*
Ida Smith of Mayfield, Kans.
Officiating was Rev. Bud Mc-
Daniels, Cogar, and burial was in
the Union cemetery under super-
vision of the Wilson funeral home. Hogs

main event which were postponed
