DENVER ENID AND GULF.
After all is said there is much iu
a name. Happily chosen is the
name given by its promoters to
Eniils latest und grestoat enter-
prise. Denver is a truly great in-
land city that is destined to dovel-
ope and grow so long as the gran-
ite foundations of the Ro&key
mountains shall endure.
Enid has been marked by the fiu-
guro of destiny on the map of Okla
homa as the political center and
permanent capital of a greut com-
monwealth. The gulf is an im-
mense indenture which tho archi-
tect of the universe carved out of
our southern coast, to shelter the
merchant ships of all nations wliiio
they load up with the food pro-
duels of the modern Egypt whose
store houses afford ample supplies
for the hungry of every land.
This name suggests the probabili-
ty of expanding business and grow
ing dividends which appeal to in-
vestors and stimulats enterprise.
Wo do not suppose that the first
Section of this lino placed under
contract will embrace the entire
distance from one terminal to the
other but si long as the name is
painted on its cars and printed on
its advertising matter it v. ill keep
tho advantages of extension con
stantly in view of the men whose
money it represents. To Enid, tho
name its self is worth all the bon-
s that is asked for. It pays towns
3 well as individuals to advertise
V't; know of no better advertise-
ment for a town than tho collec-
tion of its name with a groat trans-
continental railway.

at last tumbled to the situation and
acknowledged that possibly I lynu
will not bo coerced or drafted as a
candidate. Iu reviewing the field
if active candidates it mentions
only two who have been citizens
of Kingfisher county and closes its
article with the following invitation
"There are plenty of those who
would be willing to sacrifice their
private ease to icsonso of public du

Miss Ethel Joseph has ret Aimed
The cultivation and harvesting is simple and requir
outlay of machinery.
The work is light can bo done by women or children if necessary any
15 year old boy can do the work of a man in the b an field.
All crops such as wheat, corn, oats etc, are uncertain on account of
in.sects. Castor beans are insect proof biddi g defiance to chinch
hu£S, grasshopors and other insect pests.
Ca! '.tar Beans will grow and do well when it i too dry for corn and
oats to make anything. The past season corn was an entire failure,
while Beuns made from 0 tc 15 bushels per aero.
Castor Beans is tho only crop you can plant and be assured of a good
price If you plant broom corn, cotton ect ;you have to take ehonees
of u <-ood or poor market. A. few years ago broom corn sold for $100
per ton The next spring all the farmers raised broom corn and it
sold the next season at §18 to $25 per ton. This past season broom
corn was high this year there will bo another large crop and you can
expect low prices.
I will loan you Castor Bean seed. You have a sure thing of g tlui g
$1.10 per bushel and more if the market is higher.
When you come to market with 50 bushels of B aim you are sure of
$55 and it is all yours no c xponce cutting biudia,; lucking or threshing
When you come in with 50 bushels of wheat you will likely got S2.>,
audi think you will agree with mo whon 1 s iy it will take hall of this
to pay your expences of cutting binding stackin ; and threshing.
TO SUM I P.
Castor Bennsgroatly improve tho land harbor - iuseols und are in-
jured by none. No machinery is necessary for their cultivation or
|lharvesting. Work light ycahl 12 to 25 bushels 1. * acre. As a sod
crop Beans will make 8 to 10 bushels per acre. Seed loaned to you to
be paid for out of crop and a good price assured. If you do not want
to contract plant beans any way they always being ready money at a
<ood price. They stand a drouth better ihauanv other crop and never
make a total failure.
