ton in the interest of his house,
says the Glencoe Mirror. The
escape of Mr. Wilbur was by the
hardest kind of work, and i was

The accident occurred at a

of (ilencoe. Mr. Wilbur has
made the crossing many times
before, but this lime there had
been a washout in that vicinity,
which had filled Salt creek so
rapidly that the water washed
the bank away and in attempting
to cross, the team \v;vs suddenly
precipitated in ten feet of water.

They were at once entangled, and
all Mr. Wilbur could do was to
