Frank Lackey returned home
Sunday after a week’s work as a
member of the petty jury in the
bounty court at Tecumseh.
Mrs P. J. Stovall is visiting her
mother and brother in this city
this week. Mrs. Stovall resides

The ladies of the Wanette
Whist Club held their regular
weekly meeting on Thursday
evening of last week at the home
of Mrs. J. W. Lackey. They
were kind enough to invite their
husbands to -be present and a
very pleasant time was had in
playing games and enjoying de-
licious refreshments were served
at a late fyour. Those present
besides the family of Mr. Lackey

burglary of the stofe of E. B..

ago is said to have been found in.
the possession of Sales, and other
pieces of the stolen goods in the
possession of other parties who--
secured same from Sales. A com-
plaint charging burglary and lar-
ceny was filed before Esq. Hurst
and the preliminary will be had;
soon.
