er Lioutoncnt Abbot Hester had
died at Masbato P. I. Jan. 13th of
cholera. Abbot Hoator was tho
youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. J.
U. Hostor was 24 years of ago
and had gono from "Washington
to thb Philippines about three
years ago; Two yoari. of that
time ho spent in tho service of
his country as a soldier and was
afterward mado lieutenant of
constabulary and given charge
of a body of native troops and
tho station of Masbato where he
served till death.
Tho entire neighborhood joins
in oxtonding sympathy to Mr.
Hostor and the mourning rela-
tives who has been bereft of a son
and brother while ho was faith-
fully serving hid country.
