Tho excellent program
published elsewhere in tho
columns of this pnpor Tor the
unmml session of our county
institute suggests a rare
treat for our farmers who
wish to keep abreast with
our agricultural progress.
Our farmers should not pass
this matter up lightly with
the thought that a move-
mont of this character is of
no interest or consequence
to them but should allow
nothing to interfere with
their attendance if for no
other purpose than to learn
once for all what a farmers'
institute properly conduct-
ed offers to tho farmer who
would be progressive
A Voice From The Ditch
Thomas 11. Ferguson's
campaign committo other-
wise known as .1. C. Fisher
of Okoone has at last come
out with a very convenient
slandor of the democratic
Moses of our district 13. L.
Fulton a gentleman among
gentlemen and clean handed
among clean men. Finding
that Ferguson is coming out
very lamontably in his race
against Mr. Fulton being
handicapped by a typical
record as republican federal
olllco holder it now becomes
necessary to resort to plain
lying. Mr. Fulton is nobly
making his campaign upon
his party principles and him-
self without attacking the
dubious official record of Mr.
Ferguson the creature of
John C. Fisher his inn linger
and owner. Mr. Ferguson is
suffering badly at tho bunds
of tho newspapers of his own
and neighboring counties.
That Mr. Ferguson should
bo assailed by his neighbors
is bad: that his own craft
should lambast him is much
worse; and that his losing
cause is to be bolstered up
by lies is inexcusable. Still
if wo may judge Mr. Fisher
by tho character the Okla
homa Post a republican or
gan gives him one cannot
look for. other than lies from
