tions Senator Ren Tillman who de-
livered aa address here on the Fourth
of July tonight Issued a challenge
to Dolllver to fight a duel. Tillman
asserting that only by this method
could bit honor be vindicated. Till-
man made hit usual .speech before a
large and enthutlattlc audience and
at the close be requested all who co-
incided with his views to stand up.

Dolllver got In town today and Im-
mediately began to abuse Tillman.
He ridiculed every statement the
Southern senator made. Tillman who
Is the guest of acquaintances at a
nearby lake hurried Into town and
Inserted a notice In the evening pa
pers In which he stated he had been
