o'clock at the Baptist church.
G. M. Ferguson delivered an inter
esting lecture on agriculture at the
Presbyterian church last evening.
Mrs. Dudley Ellis and daughter of
Oklahoma City arrived today for a
visit with Mr. and Mrs. Sid Smith.

been enrolled this week -which brings
the number higher than it was any

last night and the matter of organis-
ing a county fair association was de-

The Rebekahs will hold Memorial
services at the I. O. O. F. hall Wed
nesday at 2:30 p. m. All members
please bring flowers and come pre-
pared to go to the cemetery. .

The colored slides which will be us-
ed in the Lyseum Course lecture on
Yellowstone National Park at the
Christian church Thursday night are
said to be the finest that have ever
been shown in Vinitr.
At a meeting of the Civic club yes-
terday afternoon Mrs. J. W. Orr was
re-elected president; Mrs. Geo. Kapp
was elected vice president: Mrs. J. R.
Scott treasurer; Mrs. W. B. Coley
corresponding secretary and Mrs.
George Harris recording secretary.
All Rebekahs will assemble at Odd
Fellows hall Wednesday June 11. at
2:30 o'clock for the purpose of comem-
orating Memorial Day. From hall to
cemetery where exercises will be con-
cluded. Please bring flowers visiting
Rebekahs and all Odd Fellows are ex-
pected to be present. Come with con
veyanoes. By order of Soverign
Grand Lodge.
Kansas City Meteor Delayed.
The west bound Frisco meteor from
Kansas City due here at 2:23 this
morning was delayed several hours
on account of the derailment of the
tender on engine No. 957 pulling a
freight train a few miles north of
Afton.
