Morn-
The brief announcement In Sat unlay
evening's paper of the death of Mrs.
J. M. I larroutfh occasioned distress us
it did surprise throughout the city.
Not louder ao than Friday noon
(he lady had been aUmt her household
duties' at two o'clock p. in. Saturday
Feb. 20 she died of pneumonia. Six
or eight hours earlier she jrave birth
to a tine baby Uy and the child is
hearty and well. Another little child
a daughter of four Helen as well as
the husband is left in deepest sorrow.
The funeral took place from the
Methodist church this morning' at ten
o'clock Interment being at the ceme-
tery north of the city.
The funeral services were conducted
by Uov. II. II. Watson others of the
city's pastors assist lug. A great con-j
course or friends were present to pay
their respects to the memory of the
dead and listen to the words of conso-
lation from the minister.
Mrs. l)arrouh was '.' years of ape
and to all outward appearances was
thoroughly happy with her lot in life.
An affectionate family loving friends
and a newly constructed and furnisher
home seemed to till every wish. Why
deal h should have entered at t he mo-
ment of supreme happiness is one of
the mysteries man's finite view will
never succeed in penetrating.
The lady was Miss Alleeii Wai'on
whose father is he owner of the chain
of "Walton lumber yards throughout
this territory aril Oklahoma. Her
husband Mr. J. M. i 'arroii).;h. is the
