HOUSE PASSED THREE BILLS.
Lailloe are unanimous in their praise
o( the little artist May Smith Robblns
who will appear at the 13 rooks" theater
in her- musical melo-drama '.'Little
Trlxlo." She Is brlghL vivacious nnd
full of original humor. She delights
and amuses.
One Relates to Count Boards; One to
Resale of Taxes and Third to
Assessors.
The house passed three bills yes-
terday Just before adjournment with-
out further debate. Thoy wore:
Houso Dill No. 92. by Mr. Bmbry
amending the law rolatlng to county
boards of health.
House Hill No. 10 by Mr. Decker
an net legalizing certain resale for
taxes of real ostate In Grant county
by the county treasurer.
House Dill No. 102 by Mr. Reld an
act providing for annual meetlugt of
county aBsousors.
During the afternoon $esJon the
hammer artists In thr committee of
Uio whole conM.iuod their work of
destroying lulls. Houso Bill No. i'4
by Mr. Phajps rn act to encourage
the destruction of wolves met with
the fato Intended for the wolves.
House Dill No. 00 by Mr. Seelcr. pro-
viding for oxamlnutlon of onglnoers of
steam bollors and stoam onglnes mot
with n vigorous opposition nnd would
probably have boon nipped In tho bud
had not a motion carried to recommit
to the committee on ways and menns.
Similar tactics probably prolonged
the life of House Dill No. 63 by Mr
Wood providing for the regulation
and Inspection of foreign loan and
building aasoolattyns which was sent
back to the committee on private cor
porations and HousTB Dill No 77 by
Mr. Hrewor providing for depositories
for public funds which was recommit-
ted to the ways and means committee.
The only bill to pitss through the or-
deal -successfully was House Hill No.
47. providing for the formation of
private corporations which as n-om-mendeil
for passage.
