J. Carter's great scenic melodrama
"The Fast Mail " It has been one of
the greatest successes known to the
stage for years. It has a story of
thrilling interest and the scenic and
other mechanical effects are said to be
marvelou. There is a representation
of an engine room on a Mississippi
steamboat with the furnaces undor
the boilers in active operat'on. A
very realistic train of cars shoots
across the stage and the Niagara Falls
scene is one of the most elaborate and
daring thiugs ever undertaken in the
drama It is described as a beautiful
vivid and accurate representation of
that stupendous marvel of nature.
