dation for his race. This hotel which
Is Just half n block from tho Santa
re-1'Ylsco depot is easily tho leading
house of its kind in tho capital city.
A first class cafo Is conducted on tho
first lloor of this hotel of which Mr.
Trajlor is manager being also ono of
tho ovvnors of tho building which in
Itsolf is worth some $25000 00. Tho
accommodations to bo found nt this
hotel and cafo surpasses that of any
other such placo In tho stato conduct-
ed by nnd for colored people. A dozen
or moro men nnd women nro employ-
ed b Mr. Tralor in tho oporatlon of
