Photograph used for a story in the Daily Oklahoman newspaper. Caption: "Capt. Jack L. By the time he has was intergrated into the regular establishment after the war he held the the Medal of Honor, Distinguished Seervice Cross, Silver Star, Bronze Star with the extra "V" for valor and oak leaf cluster for a ditto mark, and the Purple heart with three clusters, the Legion of Merit and French Crois de Guerre with gold start are extras. He didnt get the combat infantryman's badge in a pawn shop either."
