for something that he has done or
is doing for the territory.
In the house the other day, Con-
gressman Stephens, ot 1 exas, in-
troduced a bill authorizing the St.
Louis, Tecumseh Sc Lexington
Railway Company to construct and
operate a railway through Okla
homa territory, beginning at Stroud
O. T , and terminating at Lexing-

line being fixed at four years from

the bills were drawn robbed them of
the intentions of the authors. The
