To the members of the ParintrB'

selves. The bureau today made the
condition of the cotton crop 71.2.

1 will never know, as it has been
proven that the June report was doc-
tored. I am a little skeptical of to-
day's report and haven't much con-
dence in the man that is always ask-
ing for forgiveness. I know th^s
much, that the ginners' report was
based on facts, the actual cotton
ginned, and was very bullish. I al-
so know that the. National ginners'
report was facts and was exceedingly
bullish. 1 know that vour replies
to headquarters in regard to the con-
dition were also very bullish. I know
that all private estimates on the con-
ditions were very much below the gov-
ernment report.
Now that you have marketed a suf-
ficient amount of cotton to meet your
October obligations, it behooves you
to hold the remainder of your cotton
off of the market until the minimum
price that has been set shall have

How to Make Money In China.
"In 1898' Calvin Brlco and other
capitalists secured from China tho
right to build a railroad," snys Tom
Watson In his magazine for October.
"In course of time this fell into the
clutches of J. Plerpont Morgan and

has ever been made. Not a dollar
of benefit has ever accrued to China.
For certain reasons It became Inad-
visable for the American syndicate to
build the railroad, and the Chinese
government wished to cancel the
concession.
The big-hearted Morgan generously
agreed to give up the right to build
the road provided China paid him six
