The Dixie's big "Forced to the Wall"
sale, which is being conducted by the
Eiglo Sale Co. of Oklahoma City and
which is being conduotrd by Joe Kagle
personally, opened up this morning
vory auspiciously. For a week the sun
had scarcely sbono for an hour at a
time, but this morning the clouds passed
away and nothing but the muddy
streets was left to indicate n week of
rain.
People began to pour in at an early
hour and by noon thero was the largest
orowd on the streets that hadjiuen aeen
here, except on Saturdays, for many
weeks, and the Dixie was a beehive of
activity, the big store being crowdod
throughout the day.
A small army of clerk* was kept busy
from morning till night waiting on the
trade, and thousands of dollars worth
of goods passed over the counter.
The Eagle Sal?s people have put on
many sales in this city and success has
attended each of them. Tho present
sale promises to be a great success, be-
cause the Dixie has the goods and the
EegleB have let the people know about
thorn.
The big event has just begun, aud by
the time another week lolls around the
store will hardly hold the people who
will come in to take advantage uf the
Forced.to the Wall sale.
