President Harding has been camping and
bunking with Henry Ford and Senator New-
berry’s friends are wondering just where they
are at Henry is still contesting Senator Ne-

There is every reason to believe that the
misunderstanding over the condition of af-
fairs in the city hospital will be ironed out to
the mutual satisfaction of all concerned The
city commissioners have adopted a wise and
commendable course in appointing a board of
the character of that announced yesterday
with full power to supervise affairs of the hos-
pital There can be no ground for complaint
that the board will be influenced by any con-
sideration except the good of the hospital as
it appears to be The appointment is all that
could be desired in the way of personnel busi-
ness capacity and ability to perceive and care
for the needs of the hospital in an adequate
way

and they would eat honey and —
“Stella! SfelM’ She jumped right out of
her dream when she heard her name auJ
saw her Brownies ruxltng toward her 1‘uor
Ktnkajou was hurt and the other three were
helping him along and calling to her at the
top of their voices It scetns that Kinkajou
and a big spider had had a quarrel and poor
Ktnkajou had been stung The Fairy made
th little Brownie He down on the moan before
her and ahe then sent Hnookums for some
water
Even laty Loryklna wanted to help (for the Brownies love one another
very much) ao he held up Ktnkajou’e head as he hnd fainted Plmile held
out two long feather graseee and Ineleted that If they were used to tickle
Kinkajou under the noee he would come out of his faint but Stella waved
him away Juet then Snookume ran up with a large shell full of coo water
and the Fairy dipped some Milkweed seed fluff In It and bathed Ktnkajou'a
forehead and of course she In some secret magic way cured him of the
spider poison
After Kinkajou was again himself ths other three Brownlee asked him
what It felt tike to faint For" said Flmile “you looked Juet as pale fts
though you were dead !"
“And” Snookums added “you were Juet as sill! 1"
After I fainted answered Kinkajou with a weal little smile “I don’t
know what It felt like because I dIUnt know anything but at first It was
an awful feeling !'
What waa it like Kinks?” the other three all asked nt once
Thy were terribly interested and Just n little envious for they had
never fainted or seemed half as important ss Kinkajou was now
‘Well he told them “at first I felt all cold and damp and wobbly
then It seemed aa though everything were black and empty and 1 felt abeo
lutaly alone and then I felt as though all the black ecnptlneae waa rushing
arrnjnd me and that I had beomeJuat nothing and didn't even care!'
“Ilow awful!’ eald Loryklna In quite a Jealous tone
But 1 m all right now!" hs cried “So come along and play I know one
thing' he added turning to the Fairy “and that is that I U never again
