Haworth and Vicinity
Haworth is a pretty little town in McCurtain County 12 miles
east of Idabel on the Frisco Railroad It is incorporated and has
a population of about 700 and growing rapidly It is surrounded
by a good agricultural country The principle products are corn
and cotton The saw mill interests are taken care of by the J M
Thore mill at Haworth and a mill at Willow Springs three miles
east and an other mill three and one half miles north-east ant
still an other mill four miles south
This is a great shipping point for Rail Road Cross Ties
and this business is looked after by John Westmoreland W
Whiteman Seymore and A E Johnson The grist mill and cotton
gin interest are well looked after in the town (see ad)
This section of country is well watered and the rain fall is
abundant and the outside range is unsurpassed and boundless
both for cattle and hogs Farmers from the drouth stricken
Western Oklahoma would-do well to come to Haworth and let her

whole souled hospitable citizens locate you in that most desirable
section Take this paper and keep in touch with the Government
land sales fo come off in this country in January
