Unknown Correspondent
In answer to the unsigned let-
ter sent to me by one of the
Doctors of Divinity of Antlers I
want first to thank him for his
wish of a Merry Xmas to me
and in return I sincerely hope
that he will improve on his spell-
ing during the year 1913
His suggestion of buying a pul-
pit for my church is very appro-
priate indeed and I hope that
after making such a splendid
suggestion lie will help me to
realize it by a generous contribu-
tion His drawing of the pulpit
he wants me to buy though not
work of art is quite an im-
provement on his spelling
Don’t be afraid next time to
sign your name dear Doctor of
Divinityit looks cowardly Why
don’t you come and take up with
me the matter of improvements
needed in my church?
You’ll be always entirely wel-
come and treated as a gentleman
even if you were not

NOTICE TO PARENTS
The regulations of the school
provide that children of school
age may enter the first primary
grade only during the four weeks
beginning January 3id Hovv-
ever children who are now five
years old may enter during the
above stated period if they be-
come six befoie May 16th
The reason for this rule is the
difficulty and hindrance to the
work in the first primary room
resulting from the formation of
new classes and the time neces-
sarily taken Lom other pupils in
the special teaching of each be-
ginning pupil
