Reeves along with area Scouters
were recognized for their support to

tributions to youth of the council
area.
Reeves, a scoutmaster since 1974,
this scouter has taken his troop to
Camp Cherokee for summer camp
to thank Ira Reeves.

nounce the birth of their son, Adam
Christopher, born May 1, at 12:05
p.m. at the Pawhuska City Hospital.
Adam weighed eight pounds, 6%4
ounces and measured 18%2 inches in
length.

Law 46-74 in 1935.
During the past 50 years SCS
conservationists, working rtheough
local conservation districts, have
assisted thousands of land users
solve erosion and flooding problems,
and better develop their land.
Today there are 90 SCS field of-
fices working through 89 con-
servation districts in Oklahoma.
Assistance is available to land users
free of charge with natural resource
problems according to Bogard.
In Osage County the SCS staff
consists of Dick Bogard, district
conservationist, Dick Zetterberg,
range conservationist, Bill Leedom,
conservation technician, and Betty
Hays, secretary.
Since the formation of SCS in 1935
AND THE Osage County Con-
servation District in 1945, some of
the conservation accomplishments
in the county include 4107 ponds, 4.8
million feet terraces, 120,000 acres
pasture planted. 590,000 feet
drainage- ditches, 300,000 acres
brush management, 4 flood control
lakes, and a million acres of native
grass management, which also
supports lots of wildlife.
A meeting and luncheon of Nu
Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma will
be held Sunday, May 5,12:30 p.m. at
Jane Phillips Medical Center
Cafeteria in Bartlesville.
Local members participating will
be Nancy Woodyard, Joyce Butts,
Gerry Craun and Carla McKenzie,
who will give the devotional.
Music is to be provided by Thurlie
Tyner, with reports from Betty
Shriver on the State Convention, and
on Membership by the committee
made up of Bettye Jane Johnson,
Lela Allsup and Woodyard.
A review of the program book is
also on the agendy which was
arranged by Lorene West.
Warren honored
Wade Warren was named Out-
standing Freshman in Farm and
Ranch managerment at Nor-
theastern Oklahoma A&M College
for 1985 Warren is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Lynn Warren, Pawhuska
and is a 1984 graduate of Pawhuska
High School.

Services are pending with
Johnson Funeral Home for Domingo
Trinidad ‘Dee’ Elias, 68, 415 East
13th Street, who died Thursday, May
2, 1985, at his home, following an
extended illness.
He was born August 6, 1916 in
Pawnee City, Nebraska, the son of
Isidoro (Joe) and Mercelina (Ser-
vin) Elias. He married Alice Mae
Desweese on September 28, 1952 in
Skiatook. She preceded him in death
on August 4, 1973.
Elias has been a resident of
Pawhuska since 1922. He was a
member of the Immaculate Con-
ception Catholic Church and was
custodian at the church for several
years. He was a graduate of
Pawhuska High School with the
Class of 1937, attended Jr. College
and was a Veteran of World War II,
serving in the Army Air Force as a
S-Sgt.
Survivors include two sons,
Robert Elias and Richard Elias,
both of Pawhuska; two brothers,
Marshall Elias of Bartlesville and
Bernard Elias of Pawhuska and
three sisters, Mrs. James (Juanita)
Corle, Pawhuska, Mrs. Nick
(Conda) Espinosa of Ponca City and
Mrs. Wilson (Ramona) Cole of Sauk
City, Wisconsin
Dee was associated with a number
of Service Stations in Pawhuska
having worked at Johnny Noel’s
Texaco for twelve years prior to
retirement.

Lee Crawford, Jr., the duly ap-
pointed and qualified Executor of
the estate of Ola May Crawford,
deceased, having filed in this Court
his final account and report, petition
for determination of heirs and
distribution of the assets of said
estate, the hearing of same for final
settlement and distribution has been
fixed by the Judge of said Court for
the 22nd day of May, 1985, at 9:30
o’clock, A.M., in the District Court
