state will come to Oklahoma
City Wednesday, May 26, to
participate in Oklahoma
Methodism’s Bicentennial
Celebration at the Myriad
According to Dr R Fisher
Blanton, Enid, chairman of the

every church in the state are
being encouraged to come to
Oklahoma City for the meting
held in conjunction with the
church's annual conference
The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m.
An evening of music, drama
and worship has been planned
for the event
A special drama, The Call is
Forever," will depict the
devotion to the pioneer church
on the part of the early-day
clergy and laity. The musical
portion of the program will
include a large choir
representative of churches in
the state and an orchestra
conducted by Dr Ray Luke of
Oklahoma City; an estimated
3,000 are expected to sing in the
choir
As the drama recounts the
history of Methodism in
Oklahoma, it will also portray
what the church is today ar well
as disclose the challenge of the
years to come

written especially for the
evening by Don Stolz, Min-
