retired with honors after 35 years with the First
National Bank of Pawhuska at a dinner at the
Pawhuska Golf and Country Club Wednesday
night McFadden, was presented a watch and a
check by Donald J. Stuart, above, bank
president Officers and employees of the bank
and their husbands and wives attended the
dinner.
McFadden, also a "volunteer" of the com-
munity in civic affairs, served as secretary of
the United Fund for many years and also
treasurer of the Cancer Society. He was active
in boy scouting for 15 years. Currently he is
treasurer of the American Red Cross here and
also county treasurer of the March of Dimes and
is a member of the Lions Club of Pawhuska He
also serves on the Board of the Immaculate
Conception Catholic Church, of which he is a
member.
Future plans include fishing and gardening. "I
like to fish a lot and enjoy yard work. I won’t find
too much spare time,” McFadden said.

District at the 37th Annual Oklahoma
Assoc lation of Conservation Districts Meeting in
Oklahoma City January 12-14, will be Jim C.
Olsen, Bill Joe Culver, Fred A Drummor 1, Y. T.
Park, and Garland P Evatt Accompanying the
district directors to the Convention will be
District Conservationist-Soil Conservation
Service Dick Bogard and Betty Hays, District
Clerk.
Jim C. Olsen, Chairman of the Conservation
District Board, said the meeting will begin
Sunday afternoon with registration The three-
day meeting will deal with ways to improve the
effectiveness of conservation districts in
working with both rural and urban people on
conservation problems.
The General Session on Monday, January 13th,
will feature Gordon Zimmerman, Executive
Vice-President, National Association of Con-
servation Districts. Other presentations will be
made by Dr. James D. Sill, Southwestern State
College, Weatherford, Oklahoma; Leonard
Solomon, Executive Director, Oklahoma Con-
servation Commission and Hampton Burns,
State Conservationist, USDA’s Soil Conservation
Service in Oklahoma In addition, there will be
an Awards Program Monday afternoon.

conclude Tuesday morning, January 14, 1975.
