Ordinance JNo. 4.
Enact to amend Ordinance No. 4;
I e it ordained by President and
Trustees, in council,, in assembly.
Sec. 2. All stores handling
nails, cutlery and hardware of what-
soever kind shall pay into the city
Treasury the- sum of live dollars
($5.00) per annum;, and all grocery
stores shall pay the sum of five dol-
lars ($5.00) per ye&r.
S«c. ;i. All stores handling
drugs, paints, oilsa-wl etc. shall pay
into tlie City Treasury the sum of
five dollars (§5.00) per annum.
Siir. 4 Tliat al! hotels pay into
the City Treasury tine sum of one
dollar ($1.00) per annum, and all
printing offices and papers pay into
the city the sum ,>f five dollars
($ 00) per annum.
Sko. 5. All peddlers shall pay
one dollar per day; Auctioneers,
one dollar per day and shows five
dollars per day. This however
does not include Home talent.
Sec. 6. All other business of
whatsoever kind shall pay one dol-
lar ($ 1.00) per anum.
This Ordinance shall take effect
and lie in force from and after its
publication, all Ordinances conflict-
ing with this act are hereby repeal-
ed.
This Ordinance was adopted as a
whole, April 29th, 1805.

on the fiisst (1) Monday of May, for
the purpose of electing officers for
the various offices of said town.

Council chamber; situated in block
eleven (11), on lot twenty-eight
(28). The following officers are to
be elected: One Councilman from
each of the four (4) wards; one Mar-
shal, one Clerk, one Justice of the
Peace, one Assessor and one Treas-
