Clinton Wayne Crownover
September 19. 1998, is the wed-
ding date selected by Amy
Colleen Lodes and Clinton Wayne
Crownover.
Vows will be read at the Marland
Mansion in Ponca City. Rev. Lynn
Scott, pastor of the First Christian
Church, will officiate at the 6 p.m
double-ring rites.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and
Mrs. Don Lodes, Perry, and Mr.
and Mrs. Harold Crownover.
Edmond. The bride-elect is the
granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs.
F. J. Lodes and Marian Psikal, all
of Ponca City, and the late
Raymond J. Psikal.
Miss Lodes is a 1992 graduate
of Perry High School. She gradu-
ated from Northern Oklahoma
College at Tonkawa in 1994, and
from the University of Central
Oklahoma at Edmond in 1997
with a degree in elementary
education.
Her fiance graduated from
Shawnee High School. He is
employed for MRL Land Survey
in El Reno, OK
Following their marriage, the
couple plans to establish their
home in El Reno.
NOC Offers Evening
Courses In Multimedia
Communications
Multimedia and Digital Com-
munications (MMDC), an Asso-
ciate in Applied Science Degree
program, enters its second year at
Northern Oklahoma Colleg at
Tonkawa.
NOC was the first college in
Oklahoma to implement the
program, designed to prepare
individuals for positions in the
growing field of multimedia and
digital communications.
The MMDC curriculum was
devised to give students the
technical skills necessary to func-
tion independently and enough
"real life" experiences to stimulate
their creativity.
Upon completic on of the program
students will be equipped with
appropriate marketable skills to
obtain employment in the industry.
Among evening courses offered
this fall are: Technical Tools, In-
troduction to Multimedia and Web
Authoring I-Frontpage. Other
Computer weekend seminars also
offered this fall are: Microsoft -
Office Integration, Pagemaker 6.5,
Microsoft - Office (EXCEL), and
Microsoft - Office (WORD).

'Value Of Time' Discussed
At 76 FCE August Meeting
The Ladies of 76 family and
community education group held
their August meeting with Hazel
Chessmore as hostess. Betty Dil-
lon presided.
The devotion, "How do 1 know
the value of time?" was presented
by Mary Ann Sherrard followed
by the flag salute and reading of
FCE creed.
Roll call response was "What are
our needs for retirement?"
Correspondence included a
"thank you" note from the group's
scholarship recipient.
Plans for the county fair exhib-
it were completed. Cleaning the
kitchen and work days for cook-
ing were assigned. The group dis-
cussed making pies for the fair
as well.
Betty Dillon gave the lesson,
"Income Needs At Retirement."
She told ways of managing
finances early for retirement.
The September meeting will be
hosted by Betty Dillon. Fair booth
exhibits will be labeled for entry
at this time.
Wedding
Mr. and Mrs. Rick Runowski
Nuptial vows were solemnized
uniting Sandy Renee Beisel and
Rick Runowski in a single ring
ceremony at St. Rose of Lima
Catholic church.
Rev. Robert T. Schlitt, Still-
water, officiated at the 2 p.m. rites
on July 1, 1998.
parents of the couple are Har-
ry and Dorothy Beisel, Perry, and
Richard and Beth Runowski,
Perkins.
For her wedding, the bride
chose a formal gown of white
bridal satin featuring a scalloped
scooped neckline and short
sleeves. The bodice and sleeves
were both embellished with lace,
enhanced with sequins and seed
pearls.
Her full skirt featured a butter-
fly bow in the back and the
scalloped train was complimented
with a lace inset. To complete her
ensemble, she carried a cascading
bouquet of red roses, purple iris’
and babies'-breath and ivy, tied
with white lace.
Alice Cole, Tyler, TX, was maid
of honor. Bridesmaids w ere Kristi
Wright, Broken Arrow, and
Heather Spiva, Perkins. They
were attired in floor length
navy blue gowns, fashioned with
an off-the-shoulder neckline.
They carried bouquets of gladi-
oli, roses and blue slatice.
Jeff Spiva, Perkins, was best
man and groomsmen were Beau
Harmon, stillwater, and David
Woelk, Kissimnee, FL. cousin of
the groom. Ushers were John
Quick, Cleveland, and David
Woelk, Springdale, AR. uncle of
the groom.
The groom and his attendants
were dressed in black tuxedos
with multi-colored Mickey
Mouse and Taz print black vests.
Kaitlynn VanWagner, Broken
Arrow, was flower girl. Tucker
Woelk, was ringbearer
Christen Woelk. Kissimmee,
attended the guest book
Following the ceremony, a
reception was held at the
Community Social Hall, north of
Perry. Reception assistants were
Donna Byram and Sue Streller.
Following a wedding trip to
Walt Disney World in Florida, the
couple have established their
home in Stillwater.
The bride is employed as staff
assistant for the art department of
Oklahoma State University. The
groom is employed as a computer
technician for Hall Technology.

Caylen Lee Enfield
Gary and Shelia Enfield, Garber,
are parents of a son born at 11:13
a.m. Wednesday, August 12, 1998,
at Integris Baptist of Oklahoma
City in Oklahoma City. The infant
weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces,
and measured 20 1/2 inches in
length. He has been named
Caylen Lee. He has one sister,
Kendall Nicole Conger. 16-years-
old.
Maternal grandparents are Joe
and Rhea Goss, Texline, LX Edna
and Richard Emmerich. Dover,
OK, and Marie Enfield, Garber,
are paternal grandparents.
Maternal great grandparents are
Virgil Hodges, Quanah, TX and
Fred and Melba Goss, Eldorado,

Participates in
OFU Senior Camp
Kimberley Kukuk. Perry, was
among a group including more
than 130 high school juniors and
seniors and college freshmen who
attended Oklahoma Farmers
Union Senior Camp.

Aug. 4-7 at Saints Grove Camp-
ground, east of Stillwater.
Kerri Neighbors, executive sec-
retary of the Oklahoma Dietetic
Association, led an educational
session concerning eating disor-
ders. Dr. Connie Fox, of the Ok-
lahoma State University Stu-
dent Health Center spoke to the
group about "God Depression?
Can't Cope? There's Hope."
Campers also attended small
group self-esteem building ses-
sions. KFOR Channel Four's
Kevin Ogle spoke about self-es-
teem at the Thursday night ban-
quet.
In addition, the camp included
dances, outdoor recreation and
theme dress-up activity nights,
including "Retro Night, during
which world-renowned hypnotist
Dr. R. E. Bellows illustrated the
"Power of the Mind, and
Hawaiian Night." which featured
a roasted pig dinner and limbo
contest.
During a traditional candle-
lighting ceremony, new OFU
Youth Advisory Council mem-
bers were installed.
