Annual Branson Family Reunion Held
Oct. 5 At Lucien Community Building
Descendants of Luther, Ovie,
Bird and Claude Branson met Oct.
5,1997, at the Lucien Communi-
ty building for their annual re-
union.
Sixty-seven attended the event.
A covered dish meal was served
at 1 p.m. Prayer before the meal
was offered by David Branson.
The afternoon was spent visiting
and taking pictures. The next re-
union wa scheduled for Oct. 4,
1998, at the same location.

group leader, Phyllis Wagner.
Ethella Smith was introduced
as a guest.
Clara Williams was recognized
as loser of the week.
Freda Weinkauf volunteered to
serve as program leader for the
Oct. 14 meeting.
McGrew, Cleveland, will offici-
ate at the double-ring rites.
The future bride is the daughter
of Karla Turner, 1014 Cedar street,
and Jim Yarborough, Yukon.
Debby Knott, Cleveland, and
Terry Kime, Orlando, are parents
of the prospective groom.
Miss Yarborough is a 1995 grad-
uate of Perry high school and is
a student at Northern Oklahoma
college, majoring in social sci-
ence. She is employed at Larry's
Bestyet.
Her fiance is a 1989 graduate of
Cleveland high school and is an
employee of Charles Machine
Works Inc.
Following their marriage, the
couple plans to establish their
home in Perry.

Den Three
At a meeting held Oct. 7 at Cen-
tury Park, members of Webelos
I, den three, worked on require-
ments for the fitness pin.
The fitness pin project includ-
ed participating in the Cub Scout
Olympics.
Members also talked about the
upcoming family campout with
the rain gutter regalia.
Refreshments were served by
Cindy and Steve Canny.
In addition to the Cannys,
guests were Amy Canny, Jerry
Beckwith, Terry Keith, Lindsay
Keith, Lee Tarrant and Rachel
Tarrant.
Also present were leader Janelle
Keith and members Robert Lyle,

Lyndsi Grace Carpenter
William "Bill" and Christie Car-
penter, Perry, are parents of a
daughter born at 8:45 p.m. Tues-
day, Oct. 7,1997, at Integris Bass
Baptist hospital in Enid. The in
fant weighed 6 pounds, 5.9
ounces, and has been named Lyn-
dsi Grace. She measured 18 inch
es in length.
The couple are the parents of one
other daughter, Shelbi Dawn, who
will be 3-years-old in December
Maternal grandparents are Lar-
ry and Wanda Wallace, Perry. Al
and Betty Seward. Perry, are pa
ternal grandparents.
