For Top Rodeo Money
OKLAHOMA CITY (UPI) -
Bobby Berger of Norman nar-
rowed the gap Wednesday in
his effort to overtake Phil Lyne
of George West, Tex., as profes-
sional rodeo’s top money winner
of 1971.
Berger won $477 Wednesday
in the fifth performance of the
National Finals Rodeo to boost
his winnings for the year to
$44,040.
Lyne picked up $358 Wednes-
day and remained in first place
with a total of $45,739 for the
year

each event Wednesday were:
