MARLAND - A bridal show-

munity Center honored the
bride-elect of Alan Lloyd Smith,
Miss Sharon Thompson, daugh-
ter of Mr and Mrs. John
Thompson. Hostesses were Mrs
Earl Domeny, Mrs. John Mc-
Allister. Mrs. Roy A Case and
Mrs. George Ehler Jr.
The gift table was covered
with a blue cloth overlaid in
lace. A crystal bowl filled with
blue flowers and accented with
blue candles in the candlebra
set at either side of the ar
rangement served as the cen-
terpiece.
Assisting Miss Thompson
with her gifts were her sister-
in-law. Mrs. Dwight Beck, and a
cousin, Mrs. Terry Morrow
Ribbons from the gifts were
placed in a pillowcase made by
Mrs Woodrow Wilson.
Mothers of the betrothed cou-
ple. Mrs Lloyd K Smith of
Ponca City and Mrs. John
Thompson of Marland, presided
at the serving table which also
was covered in blue with lace
overlay. Crystal and silver ap-
pointments were used at the
table.
A game was played with the
winner, Mrs Vearl Smith, pre-
senting her prize to the bride-
elect.
