UNESCO Loyalty
WASIIINGTON—(Staff)—The' American Legion has
asked a senate appropriations subcommittee to withhold
"any financial appropriation" from the U S National Com-
mission to UNESCO until congress has made a "thorough
investigation" of the commission and the UN agency

ury department's representative at
the UN San Francisco conference
