PAULS VALLEY DEMOCRAT
GAIETY MARKES CHRISTMAS PARTY
FOR MEMBERS OF SCHOOL FACULTY
IN HIGHSCHOOL FRIDAY EVENING
A Christmas tree with sparkles all
over it a Jolly Santa Claus Christ-
mu carols lollipops lighted candles
everything but the reindeer and they
may have been on the roof if any
enterprising pedigogoe had looked
for them Even cowboys with a
capital "C" probably from the BarB-Que
ranch though they didn't say
with high heeled boots 'n everything
Anyway the teachers had a party
Friday evening There was even a
Christmas stocking buldging with an
orange and candy Yes the teachers
had a Christmas party
It started with "Jingle Bells" sung
ih all kinds of keys including fal-
setto and progressed to good old
carols Then the cow hands alias
the Chord Mixers did some fancy
branding and gave a few drafts of
airs from the old prairie Through
it all was a melancholy strain of
old-fashioned hoedown but no one
offered to dance
Some guessing games presented
Panthers Win Over
Paoli By 28 to 24

ing The Panthers had things going
their way during the first two quar-
ters and held a 21-9 lead at the half
time intermission But during the
second half things were different
Paoli not only held the Pau Is Valley
crew to seven points during the half
but staged a rally during the last few
moments that fell only five points
short of a win
