COACH OLIN WILSON
line of Hull Lester
Hinton Blan
Garner Brower De jarat t and
r)I t-rs showed great defensive strength and as the SealOn wore on
theY repeatedly drew chems from the Drumright fans and praise from
rival CORCIWI
111C11 as the backfield began to function with Burnett and Riley
abetted by Reddick Collins and Johnson and improving with every
game I:le team became tornados of lie gridiron
As a whole the Irani Showed brilliant blockii!7 tackling with
such an effective ground and aerial offense that three of the play-
ers were nominated by district coaches for all-state recognition and
five were named by the Derrick on their Cimarron team with the re-
mainder making the second team which is some record
Coach Wilson in his first year was the outstanding coach of
the Cimarron Conference with two old timers as Hamilton at Still-
water and Weaver at Cushing as part of the competition
In addition to coaching of the football team Coach Wilson will
have the basketball team and is rated very strong in that sport tie
also will assist in coaching the girls basketball team
