OIL AND GAS MINING LEASE SALE
Under Sealed Bid Monday December 21 1953
SEALED BIDS: For oil and gas mining leases State forms 5-
year term 121i royalty $100 per acre Annual Delay Rental on the
following lands will be received at the office of the Secretary to Com-
missioners of the Land Office up to 10:30 a Tn on date of sale All
bids received up to the hour of the sale will be opened at that time
and leases awarded to the highest bidder if bids are acceptable
BIDS: Must be in the office before 10:30 a m on date of sale
and shall be enclosed in envelope and marked "Bids for Oil and Gas
Leases" and the date of sale
IMPORTANT: Separate bid and check must be made on each
tract
(Bid forms furnished on request)
TERMS OF LEASE SALE: No bid of less than $200 per acre
will be considered and all bids must be accompanied by cashier's
check in the amount of 25 of each bid If drilling contract is bid
in addition to bonus then an additional cashier's check in the amount
of $25000 must accompany bid to insure making contract bond The
successful bidder will be allowed 20 days from date of award to com-
plete his leases unless for good and sufficient reason an extension of
time be granted Failure to comply with the terms hereof will be
grounds for forfeiture of his deposit of earnest money'and concellation
of the award The State makes no warranty of title and reserves the
right to reject any and all bids
BOND: The successful bidder shall furnish surety bond on each
lease for faithful performance (Schedule of blanket bonds furnished
on request)
Lessee will assume any responsibility of the Federal Documentary
Stamp Statute
The successful bidder must pay the cost of advertising
