A Bingo Party is being plan-
ned by the Del City IOOF Lodge
Tuesday August 30 at the Lodge
Hall
The admission will be $1 for
20 games A door prize and many
other nice prizes will be given
to the winners

will be served at 25 cents a serv-
ing Everyone is invited to attend

Boy Scout troop 213 has been
havisg weekly swimming parties
at the Desert Oaks Country Club
at 7 am each Sunday morning
Seven boys attended the first
swimming party Sunday August
14 and began learning how to
jump into the water without their
heads going under
The main thing in learning how
to swim is overcoming the fear
of water say assistant scoutmast-
er Jim Manovsky
A few of the boys are learning
life saving and about five of the
tenderfoot scouts are able to
swim about 50 yards
The boys who plan to attend
should meet at the home of Jim
Manovsky 3809 SE 23 this Sun-
day and next
