THE HARD QUESTIONS
What'll we give Father? He's got a
safety razor and a pair of socks
Last year we gave him a tie and he
says he won't wear bathroom slip-
pers What'll we give Mother? She's still
got some of the perfume left from
last year and her fur coat hasn't
even a moth hole in it yet
What'll we give Grandma? She
swears she's too young for a quilted
kimono and sachet is out of style
What'll we give Sister Sue? She's
got everything we could think of to
use at college except a ukelele and
we refuse to descend to that
What'll we give Janet? Now that
Tom's engaged to her we really
should get something nice And
Tom draw g the line at silk stock-
ings or underthings
What'll we give (a) Uncle Bill (b)
Aunt Mary (c) the people who en-
tertained us in their summer cot-
tage last year (d) George and Edith
who live in the house next door?

A Christmas Gift
be a
Remembrdhce
A gift which because of its everlasting
presence its beauty or its usefulness is a
constant and happy reminder of both the
giver and the occasion
Nothing more fully meets these require-Nments
than a Radio A Radio will last a
lifetime—it will never grow old
Though Radios are built with thousandth-of-an-inch
preciseness they are
built so sturdily and sealed so well that
years cannot affect their delicate adjustments
Give a Radio for Christmas and your
gift will remain throughout the year—a joy
for one and for many—a living rememb-
rance from you

You Give a Lot
of Radio Value When You
Give a Bandbox
You give the result of mil-
lions of dollars invested in ob-
taithng manufacturing rights
to the world's six greatest radio
patents secured by Crosley
from The Radio Corporation of
America The Westinghouse
Co The American Telephone
and Telegraph Co The General
Electric Co and The Hazeltine
and The Latour Corporations
You give the result of Cros-
ley mass production methods
which have succeeded in turn-
ing out the most sensational
value we have ever seen in
radio
You give "complete shield-
ing" hitherto found only in the
most expensive sets—condens-
ers and coils isolated in expen-
sive metal compartments so
that reception will be clear as
a bell and the selectivity as-
tonishing You give a genuine Neutro-
dyne radio I—and you know
what that means in eliminat-
ing howls screeches and
squeals
You give exclusive Crosley
acuminators to bring in weak
signals from distant stations
Insist on all these features in
any radio you consider Then
see and hear the Bandbox At
these standard non-inflated
Christmas prices you will
quickly decide
THE HAPPY ANSWERS
Father get cigars from someone
else Give him a Westinghouse Rec
tigon Battery Charger for the
radio and the car It'll save him
time and money
Alother'll love one of the new West-
inghouse percolator sets Or an
Automatic Iron to replace the one
she's got with the worn-out plug
The thing for Grandma is rt West-
inghouse Warming Pad or a Cozy
Glow (or both) She'll like them on
cold days and cold nights
If she's like most girls—and most
girls are—Sue will want a Travel-
ler's Iron for week-end trips when
clothes get wrinkled so easily
If Janet's getting ready for house-
keeping she'll like a Westinghouse
Waffle Iron Or a perculator set
(unless you want to save that for a
wedding present) (a) A Westing-
house Automobile Engine Heater
(b) A Westinghouse Turnover
Toaster (c) A Westinghouse Hot
Plate (d) A Westinghouse Cozy
Glow
