those that heard him and he was
accordingly invited to come back

While assemble in chapel Wed
nesday Supt Herring made filo
announcement that school would
he dismis!ed 'Wednesday after-
noon and Ivould not convene
again until 'Iondly morning All
was delighted to hear this state-
ment but for this fact the six
weeks examinations would be
forced to be taken on Tuesday
and Wednesday instead of Friday
as usual This will leave the stu-
dents nothing to worry about ex-
cept having to start back to
school again
The football team go to Davis
for the last game of this season
Thursday Everyone is hoping
that this game Will result in a
victory for Wynnewood
The attendance last 'Wednesday
woud have been perfect 'Jut that
two boys spoiled it all one being
absent and the other tardy
W H S was defeated for the
second time Friday at Kingston
by a score of 20-0 Nevertheless
the home team played a good
game
The Girls Glee club appeared
again before the public Sunday
night when they sang a couple of
selections at the regular services
at the Methodist church Mrs
M II Deal is the director and
Mrs G IL Bradfield is the pian-
ist They will sing again next
Sunday night at the Baptist
church Mr Van Bales' Boys
quartet sang two selections at
the close of the service
Clyde Lavender was injured
Monday afternoon when he fell
from a trapese He was uncon-
scious for a short time

County Superintendent Hart
and the High School inspector
visited Brady high school Mon-
day The inspector seemed to
be well pleased with the work
that is being done here
The teachers and students are
working to bring the school up to
the model school standard so that
we will have no trouble in being
accredited
There are several more in
school this week than there were
last week
The cotton will all be out in a
few days if the good weather con-
tinues and the pupils will all be
back in school
The pie supper at Brady last
Friday night vvas well attended
but we are sorry that more did
not bring pies A short but in-
teresting program was given by
the students before the pies were
sold
Miss Maude Mayfield spent the
week-end in Lindsay visiting her
parents
Mr Van Bales accompanied
several of the Brady boys to
Oklahoma City Friday to witness
the Norman-Bristow football
game
Sunday school attendance is in-
creasing every Sunday Come
out next Sunday and help us to
make the Brady Sunday school
the biggest country Sunday
school in the county We need
your presence and it will do you
good to come
Several of the Brady people
attended church at Wynnewood
Sunday night The Brady sex-
tet sang several selections
We are very sorry that Bro
Land was unable to fill his ap-
