PREAMBLE
WHEREAS God in His infinite
wisdom saw fit to make us custo-
dians of the soil from whence all
things come
TIIEREFORE let us dedicate
these resolutions rot to the prin-
cipal of condemning the abund-
ance he has bestowed upon us
but to the task of maintaining the
fertility of the soil feeding the
hungry clothing the naked and at
the same time maintaining a fair
share of the national income for
agriculture
At this tim7 we vould like to
take this oppoe:nity to commend
and recognize a few of the Farm
Bureau Officers for their splendid
leadership their untiring efforts
and many sacrifices they have
given to promote for the benefit
of the farm people and Farm Bu-
reau of Oklahoma and Beaver
County Mr Lewis Munn State
President and the entire State
Board of Directors of which Mr
Deck of Beaver County is a mem-
ber and Mrs Chester Smith
President of the State Farm

of which Mrs Ada Kerns of Bea-

C flat-by President of Beaver
County Farm Bureau and Mrs

Beaver County Farm Bureau Wo-
men These people have given a
great deal of time in promoting
Farm Bureau in this county and
state and we feel that they should
have an expression of thanks from
Beaver County Farm Bureau
1 FARM PROGRAM
Resolved that whatever Farm

ing a tolerance of one-tenth acre
3 MILK PRODUCERS
We request assistance be given
to small Milk Producers that they
might have a voice in the method
of milk collections where bulk
tank collection is being forced on
the small producer causing him
to install bulk tanks which expense
is almost prohibitive to srlall pro-
ducers 4 REA
1 Be it resolved that the Bea-
ver County Farm Bureau go on
record as favoring the continuance
of low-cost wholesale power for
the rural electric cooperatives and
that it opposes the things which
would tend to increase the opera-
ting costs of the Rural Electric
Cooperatives
2 We maintain that private u-
tilities and corporations should not
he allowed to purchase power at
government-owned dams at a
cheaper rate than rural electric
cooperatives and municipalit ies
are forced to pay
3 We condemn the practice of
pirating of territory by companies
after a cooperative has developed
and served an area for several
years
We oppose any increase in in-
terest rates charged REA that
were established where rates were
figured at 2 percent
5 DEFICIENCY JUDGMENT

of time that deficiency judgments
can run we suggest a Lint of 11
