Reorganized By
A New Ordinance
All city of Duncan adviso'ry
boards were reorganized this
week uncl : a new ordinance pass-
ed Tuesday afternoon by the city
council The new ordinance sets
up the board under the same
plan a sthe library board is or-
ganized under the city charter
The new city charter refers
only to the library board Under
the new ordinance all boards will
have five members with stagger-
ed terms They will be appointed
by the city manager In the past
some of the boards have been
named by the city council
Terms of office will be for five
years with one member's term
expiring each May 1
Boards affected are fish and
game zoning park and airport

Lowered In Duncan
All electric rates were lower-
ed here effective Monday by
both the city of Duncan and
Public Service Co The new
rates became effective Monday

Police Capture Two Men Near Duncan
Police Sunday afternoon captured a large amount of nar-
cotics and two suspects whom they behove were involved in
several burglaries and a robbery in this area the past two
weeks Jackie Davidson 28 of Duncan and Sammy Ramos
30 Lawton were captured by city police sheriff's officers and
