all I know is just what I read and hear
occasionally The seniors have started
off the second semester with a bang—
as far as gossip is concerned
The trip to Oklahoma City still held
a place among the happenings of the
flay this last week Creorge Dale in-
formed us in assembly of his trip with
"Gasoline" as the main topic of dis-
cussion When the main speaker of
the afternoon made a suggestion con-
cerning George being the "Jack of aU
trades" who should really diagnose the
case but Troy (as usual)
Playing hookey didn't get over so
lot this last Friday After signing the
petition some of teh most dignified
members backed out During the de-
bate in American Democracy class
Parris gulls was the main speaker
because of the rumor he was a ring
leader Advice pertaining to our pun-
ishment as well as morals was given
by our sponsor Here's wishing you
better luck next time
Owing to the depression the tradi-
tion of leaving a class memorial has
been eliminated the money being
needed in other places
Our hearts were saddened the past
week with respect because of the death
of grandparents of two of our mem-
bers Re-election of class officers was
carried on in a recent class meeting

We are keeping a good attendance
this six weeks because we want to

is over Some of our classmates have
been ill and we are glad to see them
back in school again
SEVENTH GRADE NEWS
The seventh grade met in the home
room and held their exercises
The eighth grade had charge of the
assembly program Wednesday The
Seventh grade was sorry to lose their
attendance banner for the first time
since sdhool started but is very glad
to sit in the balcony for the honor
of having the least number of tardies
We hope to gain the attendance ban-
ner next month

honor roll is an honor worth striving
to attain- There are two sections of
the honor roll One section is com-
posed of those students who have an
"A" in each subject for the six weeks
term This is the highest honor and
the most difficult to attain since at

the "A" and "B" or the "B" section
